Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credit

This activity was originally released in June 2011 and is eligible for credit through June 2013.

Intended Audience

This activity was developed for healthcare professionals seeking information regarding facial aesthetics and nonsurgical cosmetic procedures.

Statement of Need

The advent of neuromodulators, dermal fillers, topical treatments, and energy devices over the past decade has generated interest from clinicians in a variety of specialties looking to incorporate aesthetic medicine into their practices. However, there is a gap between the need for quality education and training for those interested in the practice of aesthetic medicine and the training that is currently available.

There is an unmet need to offer proper training to these individuals for the overall benefit of patients. Proper training is defined by the quality of the content and the delivery of the training by a true expert in the field of aesthetic medicine.
